Oooo... Books. Here's some that I've read. I'm a bookworm as well. I rarely read books published in the 21st century but here's some I enjoyed reading.

Asylum Series (Trilogy: Asylum, Sanctum, and Catacomb) - Madeleine Roux
- It's more of a mystery with some horror twist and stuff.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Series (Trilogy: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Series, Hollow City, and Library of Souls) - Ransom Riggs


The Maze Runner Series and The Mortality Doctrine Series - James Dashner
- If I were to choose which series I loved reading among James Dashner's works, it would be the Mortality Doctrine.

I read and and collect a lot of classics and novels, and here's some of the many I recommend you should try reading.

The Hound of the Baskervilles (one of the Sherlock Homes Series) - Arthur Conan Doyle

Around the World in Eighty Days, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, The Mysterious Island - Jules Verne
- I love adventures

The Chronicles of Narnia - C.S. Lewis
- Currently reading this.

The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, The Children of Húrin, Unfinished Tales of Númenor and Middle-Earth, and many more of Tolkien's works - J.R.R. Tolkien
- J.R.R. Tolkien is my most favorite author. I try to collect many of his works as I can.


Jane Eyre - Charlotte Brontë
Wuthering Heights - Emily Jane Brontë
Agnes Grey and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall - Anne Brontë
- The Brontë sisters were one my favorite authors.

Silas Marner: The Weaver of Raveloe - George Elliot (Mary Ann Evans)

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There - Lewis Caroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson)
- I love the fantasy world of Wonderland, and it's one of my favorite books. I was given a hardcover of both books. It doesn't say when it was published, but I can tell it's pretty old yet very well taken care of. ( Also, my abstract drawing says hi )


Anne of Green Gables Series - L.M. Montgomery

The Tragedy of Julius Caesar - William Shakespeare
- It's one amazing play. It's kinda hard to understand at first, but I prefer reading the play and watching it at the same time.

Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol, David Copperfield - Charles Dickens
- Charles Dickens is one of the best authors. I personally recommend A Christmas Carol as it has always been my one of my favorite stories since I was young.

The Wind in the Willows - Kenneth Grahame
- Nobody is too old to read it. I still love it.

It's kinda like a mixture of Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Selection (another book I love).
You should try checking it out some time It's a wonderful book and I think (and hope) that you would like it

I'll definitely look for the Asylum trilogy next, it sounds pretty good.

I just finished Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (the trilogy) and I LOVED it!! It was amazing, no matter how heart breaking in some spots.

I've already read the first 2 of TMR, but I wasn't able to get the 3rd book and I sorta forgot about it.... If I do read the 3rd and the rest, i'll have to reread the first two
I've never heard of the other series by him, but I'll write it down and look for it after The Asylum

I've actually never read a Sherlock Holmes book. I read a ton of Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys in 5th grade, but I never found the Sherlock Holmes series at my library. I may have to look around for it though...

I tried to read Around the World in 80 Days in (I think) 5th grade, but it was so hard for me to get through. I'm a bit older now, so I think I may add it to my list again. I know I hated Harry Potter in 4th grade, but I love it now.
The other book by him, though, I've never heard of. I'll look them up and ask around

I believe I've read The Chronicles of Narnia, but oh well, might as well add it to the list too. Never hurts to re read books

I've actually never read a book by J.R.R. Tolkien. I've been told that I should read Lord of the Rings, but I've never gotten around to it...

I've never heard of any of these, but I'll ask around and see what they're about and for feedback on them

I think I actually read Anne of Green Gables a few years ago, but I really liked it. I may reread it.

I'm not a fan of Shakespeare....I just can not get through it with any understanding...but thanks for trying

Just gonna bump this It's been a few years since I was on (4 to be specific). I'm not quite sure if the rules are against bumping old threads or not. Since we have stay at home orders currently, I'm trying to find ways to spend my time. Therefore, I'm back in the forums and now trying to see which of these books are available online.
I would love some more suggestions!
I think I'm going to try to re-read the Throne of Glass series, as there have been new releases in the series.

Once again unsure about bumping old threads. It's so crazy to come back after a few years when so much and not a lot has changed. I just finished re reading the A Court of Thorns and Roses series since she's released more books since the first time I posted. My goal this year is to read at least 25 books. It might sound like not very many but I think I read maybe 2 or 3 last year in total with so much going on.
My recent read that I really liked was "Good Morning, Monster". It's written by a therapist and is about a few of her clients and their journey in therapy and healing.

Hopefully, they won't lock this one. I love that they lock pointless bumps, but this one is timeless.

I'm currently in an "alternate religions" mode, I guess you'd call it? I'm reading books by people who escaped FLDS, Scientology, and similar stuff. I'm currently reading "Breaking Free" by Rachel Jeffs, the daughter of Warren Jeffs, the current "prophet" of the FLDS, who is spending life in prison for having sex with his underage "wives".
