Well no internet at home so I'm out using free WiFi My new provider forgot to mention installation may not happen when they scheduled it They have no idea when they will be able to lay new lines outside So I think I'll make some candles when I get home When I get internet service I'll post pics here I like collecting and making candles

nice hobby Ive made a few using the sand mold method
also as a teen I volunteered at Historic fort York where we weekly render down tallow to dip wickes a 1000x to make pioneer candles
what kind do you make do you warm them and cut down the sides to make designs?

it is a great hobby-we actually go to henry ford's green field village-everything is hand made especially the old candles and you can see them hanging to drip dry-I would love to make some using photos as I have seen many of these and they are super pretty in many colours-I love the idea of a photo on them..gotta learn how this is done!

I have a machine that melts the wax Sometimes I use sand like wax and a small wooden stick to stick down the sides of the jar to make designs My favorite to make is chunk candles A mold filled with chunks of different colored wax and then pour hot wax into the mold covering the chunks

those sound really good-eye candy..I usually keep mine in a curio cabinet and they become knick knacks as they are too pretty to melt-I do use colonial scented candles..usually light the 3 wick ones after dinner so my house doesn't smell like cooking-I love the smell of food cooking before dinner-just not afterwards lol

well you got free wifi-I'm actually packing for a road trip with mom and my daughter and use the free wifi in the hotel or a coffee shop-I don't like the coffee shops but will use wifi in hotel.
Are you getting fibre? they are constructing every corner past my block-I will go for it once they install here ,for now it's cable.

Yes fiber I thought it would be easy since awhile back they spent like 2 months digging around my neighborhood laying fiber lines but apparently there isn't one going to my house and it's when they get to it They get to it Well time for me to go home
