What's wrong with the teleport arrows, can't see them?

The arrows are very hard to see and are translucent which makes it difficult for those unfamiliar with the layout of your room to find the exit to the next room... As you can see the difference between the arrow at the front of my diner and the arrow to my next room are DIFFERENT....

People at my tours were finding it difficult to locate the arrow to get back to my 50's home so I had to add in a sign for them to find the arrow....smh

I think people have been asking for this for awhile

And they've taken off the coding at the end !! so happy !!

The problem is...they are not the same so looks odd and depending where you lay them you may not be able to see them. They are too clear and if they are going to make them like this, then they all need to be the same including the ones on the existing arrows in the homes. Also, I had an error message when I signed in asking me to put my arrows back in inventory and relay them, so I hope that isn't going to happen on all my existing arrows in each house.

Well, I hope the arrow glitch was fixed as that was much more important than changing the color (the glitch that made the teleport arrows put all your items that are on tops of tables etc under them on and off). However, having the arrows in the homes not match the teleport is just distracting. They should be the same then...

I like their subtlety. They're still visible, yet not in-your-face distracting and taking the eye away from the room's decor. I am hoping the ones that come with the houses will go this route. They should blend in but be visible enough that people can wander around easily. I think this is a great update!

The issue is now the modular rooms when added to an existing house, look different so now it doesn't match the rest of the house. So it's not a smooth flow as it's obvious it's not part of the house now, so they should either change ALL arrows including existing home arrows or none. On my 50's home I bought the coin home and added my own modular rooms and now those rooms are different than the existing rooms so it's more obvious it's not part of the home. :silly: So it was only a partial change...

People won't see where we added rooms they are so faint. I would like them to be back to normal.

They'll get used to it after a bit, hopefully. It just takes a mouse hover to find an arrow, both with new and old. If you covered arrows with floor tiles, you could find your way around with hovering.

I do not like that update. They should have added new ones – in that new appearance so we could choose which ones we want to use. Or perhaps release the full opacity arrows as coin "decals" that we could place under the updated Teleport Arrows.

I noticed that they finally got rid of that code that was written in the room name on the Teleport Arrows – so there is at least that....

I asked for this change to be made on behalf of YoFans, many fans have expressed that they'd like for the arrows to have transparency and of course to remove that odd code link (you can now see this in edit mode for tracking purposes). If we really think this was a misstep we can look at adding an opaque version too.

During my tours just now, people were saying they couldn't find their way back to my 50's home from my diner so I had to add in a sign to point them to the arrow...that's the problem. :?: Maybe they can add an option to turn arrows to the original or clear, just like we do in settings by turning things on or off or how we have the option to use the new room edit or not.

David, I understand where those players who asked for this we coming from, but in rooms with arrows to original rooms in looks wonky, when half of the arrows are transparent and half of them are opaque.

The whole reason I use them is because they look seamless and you could not tell which rooms I added into my houses and which were there originally. Well, they looked seamlessly. They do not, after this update


And some of us prefer to show them off – there is nothing worse for me then having to guess where the arrows are hidden. Especially in houses which have floor plan I am not familiar with.



I would really like to see either opaque version, or perhaps some cheap coin decals that we could place under the new transparent version.

That would be awesome if we could have both versions! I prefer the transparent ones, but some really like the opaque. It would be great to have options :thumbsup:

This is exactly the problem as my coin 50's home has 5 added modular rooms that now are very apparent that they don't belong as they don't match the other arrows. So the ability to turn the option on or off would be good. :?:

I completely agree with you--they just can't be seen enough so people don't get lost.

I have quite a few series of homes that I've done where people can go from one scene to the next, but with transparent arrows, it will be impossible for them to find the next house in the tour.
