As the follow-up to the Unofficial Part 1 Episode on our three YoValues, Jess and I dig into why Community Engagement is so important to us. We talk about how your feedback drives change in the game, what we do to collect it, and why exactly we like jumping into the game and hanging out with YoFans. Grab those tissues, because it's about to get real sappy.

As with anything in YoWorld, we are always on the lookout for your feedback. If you have any comments, concerns, queries, conundrums, congratulations or anything else alliterative, please make sure to let us know below.

The way BVG has pop ups in game and not describing what you guys are selling are illegal in most of the US. It's called gambling.

Love you guys for saving the game, but those sort of pop ups will get you n trouble in many States.

First and foremost, we're extremely sorry that you felt as though this pop-up was deceiving, and that you were upset with the items that were purchased. We, in no way, expect players to participate in every single purchase, and if there are any question you have about in-Store items or bundles, please don't be afraid to ask them in the Forums. It is never our intention to pull the wool over any player's eyes when it comes to deals, and that we're as up-front as possible when something is being purchased. If you're not too sure about something right away, rely on your fellow YoFans! Jump on the Forums to see thoughts and feedback to help inform your purchase.

The Santa's Present Bag pack that went out today was actually (funny enough) a product of player feedback! One of the biggest concerns with our recent "theme-packs" was that there weren't enough multiple items for decorators. Based on this, we added more than one of quite a few items, so players had a chance of saving more on items that they consider "decorating staples."

Again, we want to apologize that this kind of bundle wasn't up your alley, but as we mention in this YUpdate, not everything is for everyone! Hopefully you'll find something you'll like better next time :)

I've very curious what BVG means by new players.. and *OLD*???? :eh: I have seen several people with their banned accounts back recently.. are there more to come? Personally I think for some people who were banned it would be great for them to have their accounts back.. Especially before BVG decides to auction off their items off to the highest bidder... As you see, winners in the lottery have won HUGE sums of coins and became *rich* Well it's the same for LONG TIME players dedicated and devoted to the game.. they worked hard for all they had.. Many people who are in the closed auction part of yoworld know that before BVG took over, it was NOTHING to host and auction and walk away with over 200m in coins.. So just because someone's account is *rich* or suspect.. doesnt make it so :idea: I love the changes BVG has done to make yo easier and more enjoyable to play the game.. but for many of us.. the reason we come on to play at all is, the love we have for our friends, and i know for me and many of our friends, its a totally different game now. You know we had no releases for a long time with Z, and didn't even have events, but we as *players* kept going just to be able to interact with each other. Yea its great to not have to deal with the freezers etc, but to lose people based on the amount of coins on their account well... it sucks!
So i ask you BVG.. would you consider looking over some banned accounts, and the reasons for the bans?

It was too funny, I saw that there was a new podcast to listen to and figured there might be a listening event. First event I went into I got to meet a new buddy and he said are you the Kat they're talking about. I said who? He said the vikings, did you lose your stuff and get it back. :) Then I realized you must have read my postcard, so I started the podcast while he and I were chatting and sure enough. :) Thank you again. :) I'll listen to the podcast again later when I can pay more attention to it.

I heard of the wildfires shortly after recording this episode. My heart, and I'm sure those of the whole team, goes out to all affected :heart:

Why am I not a gold supporter I am vip pay monthly? Had to get that out<< now to business A lot of changes for yo since the viking team has taken over for sure as u named quite a few of them in the pod cast! Most if not all are wonderful! Except I am not a gold supporter being VIP..lol..I can say that I do remember what it was like before and can appreciate the changes! Like the one I just did snow animation for my rooms! Thanks for all your hard work team Merry x mas! :drink: :drink:

Being a VIP does not "count" towards Gold Badge status on the forum. In addition to VIP subscription, you must be spending $50 or more in a 30 day period, for the gold badge. :thumbsup:

I'm praying for them too. We lived there for 12 years and moved back to NC just short of 10 years ago. We still have numerous friends in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
So sad to see what's happened to the area on the news. Clingmon's dome has great views.

No. It has always been $50. Here is the original thread from Greg: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9246

......Now would be a good time to address a change you will notice in the forum as of today. For those players that have supported the game financially in the last 30 days, you will be recognized with either a bronze, silver or gold supporter badge. In order to receive a bronze badge, you will need to have spent between $5 and $25 in the last 30 days. For a silver badge, have spent between $25 and $50 in the last 30 days. And finally, for a gold badge, have spent more than $50.

This is our way of recognizing those players that help support the game, and also to help you recognize your fellow players who help keep YoWorld a vibrant game.

I have mentioned in the past that we tailor the gaming experience to those people that support the game financially. This is not only true, but also vitally important since they are the ones who help fund the development of new features and content. It's very difficult for me to take somebody seriously when they are complaining about coin pricing or releases when they have never supported the game. In general, only 5% of YoWorld players support the game.
