Not much makes my mouth just drop open while I stare. This is from 2004 from the original Hubble telescope. It's called Messier 104, aka The Sombrero Galaxy. It is 50,000 light years across and contains over 800 BILLION stars. Light travels almost 6 TRILLION miles a year. And it's FIFTY THOUSAND of those wide. The scale of it is incredible. Oh and it's 30 MILLION light years away from earth.

Space is massive. AND it continues to expand. Let there be..........and there it is - forever.

Gandalf would defeat Dumbledore and it's not even a contest........
