Every insult or petty little attack on me is just an extension of the insecurities that someone else has about themselves.

You guys got your priorities set alright :haha:

I was such an idiot when I was younger (Still am but :shh: ) anyway, long story short, I used to think that If I broke the Tv during scenes where there are piles of cash the money would magically show up, 3 Tvs later, nothing yet but I'll keep you posted.

I Wish I Knew This When I Was Younger
Playing cops and robbers with pointed sticks always ends badly it will kill you
Eating dirt kills you
Touching everything without using sanitizer will kill you
Putting hands out of public transit windows will kill you

I wish I knew to always trust my instincts.

That some people lie because they are afraid
That some people get angry because they hurt
That some people are jealous because they are ashamed
That some people destroy because they have been used
And most importantly - That what I see from most people is rarely their truth :smug:

It's ironic they say the Earth is fine-tuned for life but in reality, everything around you is trying to kill you.

I think the alien from Independence day said it best
Humans are a virus on the planet

I think Aliens introduced Humans to devolve the planet to the fourth kingdom-decay

There’s a certain point in life when you realize that there’s far less to look forward to than there is to look back on. So every day going forward is the best day of my life. I wish I’d known that big moments make up the smallest fraction of our lives. The small ones make up the majority of it. If all we’re doing is waiting for the really big moments, we don’t value and appreciate the small ones.

Ain't that the truth.

I have this routine now when I get home from work where I put everything away and get changed, and then I sit down for 30 minutes with the missus - no TV, no phone, and no computer. We can either not say a damn thing or we can chat the entire time, it is entirely up to us. But we will spend the time undistracted and together enjoying the fact that we hooked up. It has taught me to focus on the small and savor it for what it is. I really wish I understood that when I was 15. We blow through so much of life looking for the "next" big moment or thing, that we end up letting the small moments and things become unimportant, forgotten, and worthless. I also used to eat my food like a damn hound dog on a bowl of chow. The French taught me something there too.

Well put you two! I used to think having more friends would give me more fun & happiness.........WRONG! Man did I go through some hum dingers in my 20's...and a few in my 30's...but that's all in the past. Those that meet me half way are friends for life. There's ups & downs, but when the bad day is done, and we're still together I know that is a friend I'll keep forever. I can remember many small fun moments with the few friends I have...and the few close family members I have. Rod same here, my hubby and I sit down after work and chat a little with nothing playing...then around 10pm or earlier, if ever possible, every night to watch a show together. That is when we connect daily. We sometimes have to pause our show, but it's the time we catch up while enjoying something. We've watched so many series, it ain't funny and always worry about running out of something new to watch. :haha: Just want to say here that those small moments are EVERYTHING! Big moments ... some good some bad. But yes A2BS...there's way more very memorable small ones over big ones for sure!
