warm eyes and a cheeky smile. i guess now that im getting old, hair colour isnt a factor anymore. i mean if i was single. but just people in general, certain faces can attract me on a friendship level. its just a feeling you get from eyes and smiles sometimes. when i was younger i was more attracted to darker hair, although my first serious bf (highschool) was very light blonde and about the nicest guy you would ever meet. we are still friends today. hair really isnt a thing for me. so long as its clean :D

Did anyone see the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show tonight? Not going to lie. I teared up when they did a special tribute to Adriana and when she took her final walk for the brand.

I have dark brown hair and light brown skin and I have always found guys who are darker with dark hair attractive. I don’t know what it is, they just look yummier lol :D

I've always found it to be the opposite case for me. In the United States, especially in less urban and diverse areas, the standard of beauty seems to be blonde hair and blue eyes. A lot of of the girls that I know with brown hair have been bleaching their hair since middle school. My mom is from Lebanon and most of the women there have light skin, brown eyes, and dark hair and despite how common it is over there it seems to be the set standard of beauty. Even lighter haired women end up dying their hair darker because of it.

That is very cool, MsP! My grandfather was from Beirut (passed before I was born) and my grandma was full German. (quite a combo, huh?) my Dad was full Irish (first gen American) so I've got quite a mix in me!!

Funnily, I don't recall my grandma making much German food...but her Lebanese dishes were to die for. I miss her...and her cooking!

The clowns preference is a Native north, central, or south American girl's all natural silky smooth coal-black hair. This may also apply to Latino girls as well, and it definitely applies to the darker skinned Thai and Pilipino Asian ladies that clowny is quite fond of too. Indian ladies likewise have this hair type that I like as well.

It's a tossup for me between black hair and hair like Anderson Cooper's! (Early silver, shimmery...)

I won't go into details as it would most certainly get this thread locked and me slapped with a "Board Warning Issued" message from one of those pesky mods, but yes, there is definitely a difference in the taste of these black-haired ladies that clowny so thoroughly enjoys.

Guys, I'm counting black haired people in as "brunettes". The term 'Brunette' had evolved over the years to mean dark-haired as opposed to simply brown-haired. So if you marked "other" because you chose black-hair as your preference than be sure to switch it to brunette. :)

I'm keeping mine as "other" because I find myself drooling over silver hair on a fit guy! ;)

I'm a brunette fan all the way! Although when I was younger, I always preferred blondes. With blue eyes. And now I like darker eyes. Go figure. Tall men have always attracted me but I dated many guys who were 5'7", 5'8" (short?)
Doesn't matter so much now that I'm 60 and old!! LOL
And my bf has salt and pepper hair-what there is left of it.

More than anything, I am attracted to certain types of people and looks are much less significant than they used to be.
I was a 5'3.5" brunette with blonde streaked, very thick hair and on the thin side. And a bit more shallow.
Now I have no right to be as age takes its toll and things head South!! (I wonder how far south they'll go??) :quiet: :haha:

Interesting. Both of the women you mentioned are Mediterranean. Is that a coincidence or do you just like that kind of look?
