Some that I recommend are:
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children -- I'm reading this right now after a friend recommended it to me and I absolutely love it. I'm sure you will too, especially if you like Harry Potter.
Divergent, which is a much better book than it is a movie.
Tiger's Curse.
I know there's more but I was just about to take a nap before posting this, so maybe I'll add others later on! Happy Reading.

Don't you have a book store near you? Like in a shopping centre?

There's a book store at the nearest mall (about half an hour or so away) but my mom won't let me spend money on books if it's her money, and I can't see paying $15 for a book![]()
During school I read a lot, and I have a teacher who is amazing and lets me borrow some of her own books that she bought with her own money![]()

We have a book shop/library in the UK called Waterstones and it's amazingIt's very...bookshoppy in a lovely vintage way, and all the staff are always so lovely
It has everything, even little stationaries and games and random cool things. You don't even need to purchase anything, just sit in their cafes and read!
You'd love itIf you ever get the chance to travel here, look for one of these!!

Lucky!! The store here is basically like any regular store, but with books. Our library is probably more 'bookshoppy' than our store, because I live in a small town and it's a lot smaller and more cozy

What have you been reading?

Aw, that sucks, but at least you have Waterstones
Not much really. I haven't been to the library in a few weeks because my mom has been really busy with her job and hasn't had time to take me, and because last week or so my grandma had to go to the hospital for heart problems (She's still there)
Basically the only reason I'm looking forward to school is having access to books almost daily (We have an in school library we can check out books from) and Spanish class![]()

It's nice that you like coming to school for that reasonI liked my second year doing Spanish, everything was so fun! First year was boring and the class was all dead because it was first thing in the morning

I'm only having Spanish (not French)
We have a small school (Theres only maybe 60 kids in my grade / freshman ) and so I know basically everyone in the close grades. Our classes have a few entertaining people though
Have you read The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West?

In French class the teacher was shouting at one of my classmates and said to him that he'll never get anywhere in life and he just said the lyrics to Ellie Gouldings song 'Anything could happen' It was great
No, what's it about?
