I don't understand how the stocks go. Where will the money spent on stocks come from? Will the money we earn go into our yoville account as in like yocoins?

If you have say 15 k you could buy a stock . and if the stock cost 10 k you will have 5 k left . and you can sell the stock for mre than 10 k sometimes then you may have 16 k instead of 15 k . or you might lose money .

My Dad is, self-described, "A Big Stock Market Guy" LOL
I look at the Sunday newspaper with all the stock numbers and I am back in school, being forced to learn (avert your eyes, anyone who is squeamish!).... SPREADSHEETS! Dun-dun. Oh the horror! So basically I feel like an idiot. Then my Dad said "Buy this one" and I did and heck if I know where it is or if I get money from it or what.

I invested in bananas once and made a million in a few days but then I invested it all.
then one time I invest in RICK something because I have this great guy named rick on my timeline. lol
has nothing to do the twain. hahahah. so I decided to invest all there too and again, I made a mil or so in 3 days.
another time i invested in MEDICINE. i think it was the medicine one. and walla. i hit another winner.
buy very very low. and when it goes up. boom grab it and sell.

Its too bad the naming in there is so non Intuitive. They could have used some good ingenuity to name their stocks where people and kids can really get a hold of the idea and real life meaning instead of reduntant names that were given. The stocks would fair better with some meaning and to go into the game in a real life kind of way but as they said it is all Random.
why would anyone make a "random" stock in a game like this?

It's actually quite simple.... select a stock.. look at the graph... when stocks are near the bottom, buysome... be patient and keep track... Once the stock hits the top of the chart, sell

Jess, i'm a tad confused by the 0.25%. So, it's 0.25% PER stock? How could you possibly lose money that way?

There is 0.25% transaction fee per sale of shares (a minimum of 10 YoCoins), so make sure your profit will work out to more than that or you'll lose money!

Ah, They have a stock market now? Wow... and I am too scared to use it because there is a point where I can lose it all, but then there is the time when it's going up and I got the profits.. The fundamental factors may include the condition of the company's sales or earnings. Does this apply in YoWorld Stock Market? I think it's a no because those companies didn't exist in YoWorld to offer goods or services. So my question for BVG is...

Where do you get those simulations for the Marketplace? Is it just programmed? Or is it linked with some data in a real life stock exchange?
