linking arrows in challenge rooms

Why can't we link our challenge rooms with arrows? I'm not sure I understand the reasoning? Can someone please explain it to me? We spend time and money working on them, why can't we use them? v

I think it might be happening for the following reason:

They usually give us the fancy/ special rooms to decorate like, for example, the backyard in the doll house.
If you had bought the coin version of the house and were able to link your challenge room to it then you'd have easily turned it into the yocash home by adding the backyard and a couple other random rooms. Hence, no point for anyone to purchase the yocash home.

At first, I thought I had linked challenge rooms, but when I went back again, I realized those were rooms we were given that had arrows attached. Oh well, sorry.

Honestly, I'm not even sure whether we can/ could. I just hypothesised what it might not be happening.
