With the old desktop app my YO was pretty fast. Now after I FINALLY got the new one, (took me ages to migrate my email) It is slower than even playing thru' FB. I just don't understand this. I wish BVG would stop all the improving and focus on the game play part. I can't even buy new stuff or walk around unless I have GOBS of time. Lots of good new houses, clothes & items do, when we can't play the game like we use to.

To Sassy. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling it. It made no difference, still slow as ever.

Hey all -- I posted earlier that I was in the same boat. But I figured out how to fix and I got my 30 day calendar. The only downside is the resolution is different, so the board is smaller visually. Harder to see details for us older folks, but otherwise plays the same as the older versions. Just go to YoWorld.com and follow the prompts -- put in your email, the create a password. It will merge your current game into the most recent version. If you "Save" as prompted, the new desktop icon (a crown) will appear on your desktop and taskbar. It is the same game as the old desktop icon.

They are aware its not working because I seen in posts on FB where their telling ppl to go to yoworld.com and you will get the "New and Improved desktop app" what BS....all that link does is take you to migration page....sneaky for sure!

Add me to the list. I have tried every day since facebook link was down to use the email to go to YoWorld. (because facebook did this to farmtown and it took almost a month of hoop jumping before facebook It never never loads. It signs me in but I can't do anything even look at the settings or log out. Just sits there saying loading till I just close the whole page!

YoWorld desktop still not working - the yellow bar with black stripes just keeps on going as nauseum. I can't get in. I've missed several days.

same for me, but if I use yoworld.com, it works but no ads :-(

I havent had ads in months. It's been hard.
