CANNOT PLAY YOWORLD ON DESKTOP APP!

I thought that the desktop app was supposed to make it so we can play without the flash player that is now gone. Apparently, the desktop app also uses the flash player. I have been trying to get into the game and cannot. I have been using the desktop app thinking that it would still work without flash. Is anyone else having this issue?! Is this just a temporary issue?

Mine won't work either... getting the error that there is no flash... but I'm using the app. So I hope there is help!
