Teleport Arrows + Layering

Hey YoFans!

Some of you have been mentioning that using Teleport Arrows is affecting your rooms. We'd like to gather as much information about what's been happening as possible, so we can see what might be done for you!

In this thread, we'll ask you to reply with information about what you're experiencing. Please don't reply unless you have information to share about this problem.

Jesse, I sent in lots of info on this in February and as instructed I left my Valentine's Day home with the teleport arrows and all items affected in place so you all could analyze it. It is now May and I have heard nothing from anyone about this. I do not want to have to repeat all the info here.

I have used Dozens of teleports and have had no problems with them at all, the new ones are perfect for linking rooms.

Just saw this thread tonight - I have problems with layering with both teleports and the teleport arrows. Sometimes when I go into the rooms they look fine, and sometimes the layering is messed up.

Some examples of rooms with the arrows:

Note that the arrows are there in both correct and incorrect samples above. Just sometimes the layering works, and more often it does not. Let me know if you want more

My existing arrows all work but can not add any more...Tells me to reload page...Glitch?

If I must, I'll take screenshots. I've been playing around with the arrows and it seems like if there are any more than 4 (including the ones that come with the room/avenue), it's problematic. Or so I thought. I pulled the 5th ones out and it's still wonky. I've worn myself out trying to work out a solution. I added one to a bedroom that was connected to a bathroom in the same house so I could connect the living room to the bedroom, if that makes sense. It's been weird ever since adding it and periodically things disappear off my tables, as someone else's post showed. But then it seemed to work ok, so i added more in other rooms of the home and everything went crazy.

KK, the arrows are at YoDepot - you have to actually go to the store, on the map and go inside like when buying the normal teleports. Enjoy!

These pictures were all taken with the yc teleport arrows in the room to show you that when you first go into room, the layering of those items circled were out of wack. However if I kept going in and out of the room a few times, the items appeared to be layered properly. I then took ALL teleport arrows out of the rooms and tested several times going in and out of the rooms then refreshing and repeating.........the items were placed correctly EVERY time So this shows that the problem stems from the teleport arrows.

My newly placed teleport arrows are not working. My layering is fine, but it says they are not ready; the other one might not be placed or reload room. I have reloaded, moved, and replaced. Still nothing. Please help.

ive used some 80 or more arrows and only have a problem randomly with layering over the border panels in FS rms

(Bambas take them into empty room to sort into pairs clear your cache and re do 2 at a time)

This is what I have concluded. I put those arrows ONLY where there are no table top decorations. If I do that the layerings does not get messed up. I frequently get disconnected when using them also. I deliberately chose a location that has very little that can unlayer. Look carefully at what I have below:

everytime i decorate and go back to use an arrow it says cant connect to your account im going to take off my entrance i think that has something to do with it going to try it anyway

found new bug went to change the order of my homes today and when you try to change the numbers with your mouse they dont work it only works with the - and arrow keys !! this needs to be fixed If i have 400 homes and want my 400th to be 1 its gonna take a long while

Layering issues have been a problem with or without teleport arrows added to the room. Seem if items are placed in a specific way or close together they do as they want and hide under something else. My problem with the arrows seems to occur with arrows already in the room. IE in the haunted Castle in the secret basement room I want a teleport arrow on the stairs there but instead of exiting to where I have the corresponding one I go into the library. The distance is far enough away but it will only work when I enter from it's mate. I'm horrible at screen shots but the room is as it is so you can check. Same any room with layering trouble, which is quite a few

I have teleports in my sale house and 9 times out of 10 if I used them it makes me refresh so annoying. I am also wondering how many customers i lose to the teleporter glitch?
