[HTML5] Are you experiencing constant refresh/disconnects?

Hey YoFans!

Our Dev/QA team is attempting to reproduce the issue with players that are experiencing constant refreshes/disconnect, and in order to do this, we need your help!

Reply to the thread below with the answer to these questions:

1. What are you doing in game before you disconnected?
2. If you attempt to do the same action when getting back into the game, does this reproduce the issue for you? (Do you disconnect consistently with the same action)?


Any information about what you're doing in the game when the refresh occurs would be very helpful!

This is perhaps my number 1 issue. I hang out at Altons and the Sky Club with various groups. As you can imagine, players are dressed infinitely in items, they use actions/dances/etc, and they have all manner of conversations and craziness. Most days, I log in and visit with them without incident. Other days, I can be forced to refresh a half dozen times in 30 minutes. There is no ritual set of things that must happen in order to unlock the refresh. I will clear my cache, change browsers, use the desktop app, etc etc to try to minimize it - if I have the patience. And mostly I think I do those things as a placebo to make me feel like I'm doing everything I can, because rarely does it stop. I simply log out and try again later.

This can also happen when I'm in the Furniture Store buying items to level up. It can also happen when I am trying to place those items in rooms to level up. But both of these are much rarer, and I usually do them in the morning (Texas time).

Trading I've experienced it multiple times on my end, but more often on my counterparty's end. It sucks either way. There is no one item or specific reason I could identify as a possible cause.

Again, MOST of the time I have ZERO problems. And the randomness of it is perplexing. My guesses are -

1. A specific server hasn't fully integrated something?
2. A player or group of players do things that don't properly integrate?
3. The God Of HTML5 needs a virgin sacrifice of one of BVG's developers?

I only must refresh when some pop up shows in game.

New stuff, dice game, etc.

Not forced refresh, but my screen freeze a lot when I click on new stuff or deals or whatever is in pop up. After refresh, it works fine.

Everything else works ok at moment. (Knocking on the wood LOL)

My game has gotten really bad today. I don't even have to be doing anything for it to freeze up or go to get screen today. If I refresh and come back I can be frozen right away. If I'm decorating things I put in the room get stuck where I place them at first and then I can't move them anywhere else. I can do a couple coin runs before I freeze and go to grey screen. I do have to refresh and refresh and refresh over and over. Thank you.

I got the refresh when I got on Html5 and I only get 10 seconds to do things before the refresh comes on and my buddy list goes off as well

just today the desktop app keeps crashing. its worse for my daughter on html. im not on html and i can do more on the game. i find when i start doing things like loading inventory to list in the AH then suddenly the app refreshes. my daughter now tried to do the gem event hang-out but going to another room gives the grey screen. now it won't even load. as soon as she tried the desktop app completely closes itself after a couple of seconds loading

My game force refreshes me every other min. I've tried the App, Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge n I still keep getting the REFRESH button on my screen. I load in like normal I can go anywhere in game but soon after bout 30 secs - 1 min of bein in the game Ill get a REFRESH. Sometimes it'll let me stay in game longer than other times but no longer than like 3 mins. Sometimes when I refresh I load into another REFRESH waiting on me... :drink:

I get the blank screen and have to refresh after changing rooms several times, and when decorating for more than a couple of minutes

For now, I save my decorating even more often than normal and try to remember to refresh in advance of getting kicked :haha:

Yes, I am having more and more issues. Today, when I went to another room in the same house, my avi was naked and decapitated & kept marching like it was heading toward the seat I pointed at. I wonder if it could be the old flying broom that I put on. This has happened 3 times today. Once, my naked, headless avi kept repeating the entrance I have, when I tried to visit a friend.

I keep getting "Could not connect to server" message as soon as yw loads, and if I don't get that message I get about 5 minutes in game before it disconnects me with the message "you lost your connection to the game server. Please refresh your browser to continue. Once I was in trade, and once when I just finished a trade, once I was buying from the salon. Also, I'm on the app.

Game is unplayable.

I just posted this in the HTML5 bug reporting as well.

Also, Every time I access my inventory in any way be it load my closet, in the A.H. or do a trade, my list says that nobody is online, and my buddies say I am not online when I see myself green online.

Hi Viking Sam .

I was told to let you know If I’m still having problems with the game. I found out by wearing the (White Animated Blooming Dress CT2021 VIP2021) The problems are really bad. I could hardly do anything just refresh after refresh. I tested the dress today. Because I was curious about the dress. After I changed the dress things got a bit better. But, without the dress I still go grey screen and disconnect or freeze or both when changing outfits. If I scroll very far down a category I go grey screen . I have to keep saving every couple minutes so I don’t lose all the work. It’s the same if decorating. I have to save every couple minutes or I would lose all my work.
Oh and if doing coin runs after a couple I will go grey screen disconnect.

I thought things were getting better for a couple of days. But today I can't get on freeze's up as soon as it connects. I have tried the App., Edge. Chrome and Puffin all the same problem. On a side note I'm hoping we can lay in Beds again soon. And sit on furniture properly too. Holding off with purchasing until it's fixed. Which is killing me. :haha: :haha:

1 more thing I spent alot of Money on these eyes last few days they look distorted. Hope that get fixed also.

Whenever I use the Map to travel I get the Popup that I've lost connection and need to refresh.

I've found the only way I can travel around YoWorld is via the Gem daily links or through my houses

Today is really bad, can't ask for buddies in the gem game, keeps freezing, tried several times.
Also trying to clear gem room to put items back in my inventory is taking FOREVER!!!!!!!

When I try to place the Moon Rays 1 MM2020 (new purchase from store sitting in my inventory now), the Moonrays do not go into the room the screen freezes and the room immediately grey screens so I have to log out to get clear. This has happened multiple times today.

I can place other static items like the new chandeliers in a room without incident.

Any time I try to go to an event, or use the map (anything which requires me to change servers I guess) I get "firewall" pop up and dcd.
This has been happening for weeks now :(
(I have posted my laptop specs a few times but let me know if I need to repost)
No matter if I change browsers, try via the app - I even tried hubbies PC and it does the same. It is every single time.

I also get dcd when editing rooms and try and place the blue moon rays in my room.
