For the love of all things Holy please remove the cap on Yo points. I've been in lockdown since Christmas and another 9 weeks ahead of total mind blowing boredom. :wailing: Please for the love of St. Patrick  and all things Irish  remove the yo points cap. i want to do something completely mindless :silly: and spend millions of coin levelling up. :wailing: Plus the more coin I spend the more Yo cash I buy because I hate to go below a certain amount of coin, so it's a win win

 That's goals. I have never hit it. If I did this would probably be something I posted.

Who likes limits? But I know they had a reason to set it. We can only hope they consider reviewing if it is really helping how it was intended to since it has been in place a while now.

I mean... How many people are actually hitting it on average.... ( I have no clue)

Yes please! We've been in a tight lockdown since the holidays as well, it sure get's boring, so anything to make it a little bit more endurable is more than welcome. Even if it's only for a limited time during this whole virus mess.

I hit that level often, but now I can't move up a full level without hitting that cap, it's beyond frustrating.

Well done you! I've never reached the cap, but I imagine it would be a bummer. I think they put it in place because some players were leveling too fast. Is that even a thing? :D

I hope they up the limit for you. Maybe now that HTML5 is here, they'll have more time for other things, like this. Good luck!

IDK why I can't get in game on chrome on my computer. I hate the desktop app. I like it on the side when I am working on school. uh. I guess that would be a start. Yeah remove the limit.

If you buy the items and put in the work, you support the game with coins or cash, who cares how fast we level up. There not that much benefit to it.

I think it is intended to slow the ascent for leveling. That is the only possible logical explanation that makes any sense to my simple mind. It's very arbitrary, but it does slow the leveling process.

I've been leveling for about 5 months now, and what I know to be true is that the 25K limit is a "daily" rolling limit over a week. So I will do 12 rooms one day, and 16 the next, and then 12 the next, and so on. This pattern gets me 2784 XPs, then 3,712, etc etc until I'm at 23,200 for the week. The remaining XPs I use as a cushion for when I do actual decorating. It's a beating because I'm spending a pile of coins. But it is part of the game's challenge. And most challenges are frustrating in some way.....or they wouldn't be challenging.

Anyhoo, I hope you have a blast however you level up. You just passed the point where it starts to REALLY slow down. Nairda told me at level 450 it takes a week or more to do a level. Oh joy. LOL

I agree. I don't often get on the roll of levelling up but when I do and reach that cap in one morning it's nuts.

YES!!! Remove it! It's stupid and unnecessary, not to mention beyond frustrating!

We don't need this limit because:
1. Leveling up is already difficult and expensive enough-currently a player can gain up to 2 levels per week before hitting the cap and that is if the level requires around 30000 exp points
2. The stupid alert message does not come every time and makes players lose coins until they notice their experience points are not moving
2. If we can't play this game and do what we want to in it- I don't see any reason we should spend money on it

By the way Mr. Rod, congratulations for getting waaay before me! :) I didn't play for a month and a half and you did well :D

The amount of yp needed for my next level is 34,859, that makes it slow enough for me. I don't understand why it should make any difference to the Company what level were at. It not like I asked for new levels to begin with. Stunting players spending on the game is just nonsense to me considering I can go to the casino and blow any amount of coin I like. Anyway it's all good, it just means no more decorating either for me until the dumb yp resets next week

I couldn't agree with you more Koats. At the level I'm at now it takes over 43000 points to level up. I wanted to level up a bunch during this hiatus from the GE's. It hasn't happened, between trying to purge my buddy list, having other things going on at home that need attention and projects I'm working on, trying hard to get my inventory under control etc. I've only gone up once. However when I'm on a roll I want to just go for it and not have limits to the amount of points I can garner. It's not like it's that easy to get there and there are enough other challenges to getting up a level when you need this many points. So those limits takes away the incentive to spend money on stuff if it's not going to do any good.

I never gave any of it much thought. Never hit the limit. I just play and it's usually a surprise to me when I level up.

Didn't even know before this thread that it takes more at higher levels.

Question, though: If they are arbitrary, why should we care about making them? The income of the 250 daily chests doesn't seem to differ THAT much.

I think you're right. some yos take vast pride in being the first to reach the top level as fast as possible and then start the litany "we need more levels, we need more levels now. that's the only reason I play the game is to. level. up". must irritate bvg as they[r'e a small company and probably can't have one employee constantly working on making new levels. that's only my uneducated guess. I don't care one whit about leveling up, not how I play. I do understand it's how some want to play in yo and how important it is to them. it's just not on my radar at all, which is totally okay cause we're all different.
