Thank you kindly May! I love what you're doing with all your rooms so far, and the update to the kitchen backsplash improved the flow of the room, showing off more of the details throughout. In fact, I just noticed that it’s a mouse stirring the pot on the stove, and the cat pawing at the stove below is eyeballing his (hopeful) next meal – a side order of “mousse" a la mode perhaps? ...

Koats! - Sooo lovely! I just want to curl up on the sofa, with a good book and a "goodnight kiss" ~ which is a drink ~ hot steamed milk with Baileys and Kahlua ~ YUM... I see a wee pet hangout under the stairs! Too cute...

@ Bookworm J ~ Thank you kindly! Just dabbling with an extra room while we're still in this snowy season... Still debating if I want to pick up on the home itself, or wait it out a little longer... Will see what how this theme presents itself in terms of "the goods"...

Love it! I combined two homes and added a kitchen and dining room that way. Too many pictures to post here but everyone interested in seeing what I did is invited over. I love company so please stop by. I did research the subject and tried to create rooms that were in keeping with Swiss chalets.
