[UPDATED] YoWorld HTML5 Rollout Has Begun!

So far, pretty good. Just a few issues
1: Can't remove single items from some rooms, I have store homes sorted and themed, I can only clear whole room, not single items. Sometimes putting items in rooms, they stay where put and can't be moved again without clearing whole room and starting again.

2: gold fish bowl messages, they don't show price when used at sales. Only show "goldie".

3:Eyes on my avatar disappear when I enter events.

4:In certain homes , you can't enter some of the rooms.

I have refreshed frequently. Have cleared cookies etc. Any ideas appreciated.

I had that issue today with some items.
Open your inventory, IN USE tab. Type in the name of the item. Click on it and choose MOVE TO INVENTORY option.
Not ideal solution, but at least you can remove it without clearing the whole room.

I can't log in. It goes to 100 % and stops. I really didn't want to lose my daily progress and giveaways. I've tried several times through browser and yo app since yesterday.

It uses more resources and uses them differently.

Working properly, HTML5 should be much lighter and faster than Flash. Flash uses more system resources.

That isn't how I remember it, but I remember things wrong all the time. It still uses them differently. So many times in my life something on a computer didn't work and it was because I had some odd setting locked down too tight or something.

I'm sticking with: If it works for most, it means it works, and issues are case by case. That doesn't mean BVG can't make changes to make more systems work, but at some point you reach best case scenario where making it work for some means removing minimum-issue-causing functionality from all. Meaning: we all lose if BVG rolls things back so far as to make them work on 10-year-old computers with Pentium and 4GB RAM.

Any idea when everyone will be on HTML5? I’d like to continue supporting the game but not going to buy yocash until I can play on my phone again.

I know you guys are working extremely hard to get this fun game up to par. Everyone is looking forward to most of the glitches be gone. I just want to point out some issues I'm having and I know you probably seen these problems many times before.
1. When my avatar enter my room from loading my avatar is bald and is wearing no clothes.
2. When my avatar enter a room everyone is bald and have on no clothes, however, any new players that enter the room are fully clothed and have hair and makeup on.
3. If I throw a snowball at another avatar the clothes appear (I discovered this today)
4. The game freezes and a few times my stickers don't appear from the menu.

These are the issues I'm currently having, I still play though with the defects just to chat with my friends on this game. We all have patience and we are looking forward to play this fun filled game.

All other things being equal, a computer that can handle Adobe Flash should also be able to handle HTML5. I know this because I used to work with both HTML codes (HTML4 at that time) and Flash files from Macromedia (before Adobe acquired it.) HTML language is much simpler than ActionScript, and no third-party program or plugin is needed to read the language and execute it. No swf files either. What we need is an HTML5-compliant browser and reasonably fast internet connection.

As I recall this fiasco started in the last of December, and you are a month behind schedule.

You failed to remember that basically the conversion was not done by BVG but by another company that specializes in converting Flash to HTML5

Mine isn't working! I can't collect coins in the factory and my factory screen is dark. There is nothing in the rooms except me, the walls and whoever I'm visiting. I can collect coins on visits, fortunately. This has been going on for a week. What's up?

I am finally in HTML5, game performance is great, same as Flash however I have a gaming PC so I think that may be why. I have noticed a few graphical issues with some items, particularly eyes which render in a way I am not even sure how to describe. I also noticed one of my undercut style Zynga hairs having odd textures where the undercut part is although I think this may be because I have 3 of them and the game is loading all 3 at once instead of just one?

Agree completely. That is where I believe some people don't know what they have. I'm probably biased. I'm the go-to tech person for the entire extended family and the only person there over 30 who knows what those things mean and who has them. I'm still trying to get my mother off of Explorer (Thank you for the assist, MS) and AOL e-mail.

I have had problems with this new HTML5... first off there are lines through the page so my floor looks like it is cut in three places, second, the screen jumps all the time when I am searching for items so that I cannot see what I am typing in the search box, it just jumps up and when I start to type it jumps up again! This never happened before so it must be this new thing! I do hope they iron out the glitches soon as at the moment I am unable to decorate without frustration!!!

cant read fish bowls in events, sometimes have to refresh bc cant see anything in the room esp if at an event, sometimes cant see ppl in the room until a minute later or have to refresh again. littles things like these...........may b the html team can look into

Well, I've been on html5 since 8th of February. Aside from all the glitches and lag, I could load the game both via app and via browser. I logged in via app a few hours ago last time, and now I can't.

I did try more times, clearing cache but didn't work. Stuck at loading screen.
I tried via browser then and logged in without problem. After that I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but still the same.

Just reporting, not complaining. Hope this is just temporary, I kinda got used to the app.

Edit to add new info:

I just logged in game via app, and there was no blue banner indicating I'm on html5. That happens occasionally - being on and off html5.

So, I quit the game, and tried entering again. This time the banner was there and got stuck at loading screen again.

Definitely it's html5 related.

I have some items duplicated when I only bought one. It only recently duplicated during this html5 thing rolling. Will the other duplicate one or the origin one go poof after I'm moved to html5? I had the cash machine whirly which bought from AH and I putted it in a house. Then I moved that same machine to another house. But now I see I have another one in the previous house so got 2. Then another one is the Bvg big bear. Bought 2 and gave one to mom and one I keep. Now see have 2 bears and mom says she still has hers. Strangely enough my vegas lips latrine which was a ghost is now listed as an actual item in my inventory. Yay.

This is what the map looks like on HTML5. If you want to visit something outside your home. You have to do old fashioned walking from area to area using the arrows

Some of my rooms are still having the pixelated look on the floor and walls.
Some of the food/decoration items disappear from tables and chairs.
When I sat on one of my outdoor lounges, my avatar disappeared completely, showing only the name. I tried clicking to move the character into a different room and it wouldn't do anything at all until I refreshed the game.
Keep up the great work guys, we all appreciate how much hard work you're all putting into it for us!
