Hey YoFans!

We've heard your feedback about the stores missing some essential decorating items, and we want to see what we can do about that!

First, we're reaching out to you to find out specifically what kind of items are missing from the stores.

What items do you find essential to decorating that isn't easy to find in the store currently?

Let us know below, but please keep in mind that just because it is requested, there's no guarantee it will be made.

Would like to see some more windows and walls that is seeview like those Glass Wall Panel like small ones and med and large and such also would like to see floor tiles that are seeview to.

Some cool and interesting ideas/suggestions I've seen in the past: remotes for the coffee table, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, etc

I agree with Mata's first point as some general item feedback!

Zynga used to release about 40-50 original items per release with limited recolours, and it worked

A river or stream that runs right to left or up and down instead of diagonally. This would be SO phenomenal. I have a feeling due to the layout (I still feel like this is on some sort of grid design system) that this might not be possible but I have to ask.

A glowing moon- we have some great ones in the store but they don't have rings or anything around them.

Some coin NPCs that can be used in most rooms would also be something I consider essential. I'd like to see some realistic diversity in them too. And nothing with big hair please! Those are hard to place in a room and still have everything look proportional.

And, some sort of roof that we can layer on top of pre-existing roofing that we don't like, or in creating our own home exterior. This would come SO in handy! I can't tell you how many times I've looked for something like this.

Also, more scenes or views. Water tiles or views that can be bought to look like a river, ocean, etc. These are also very hard to come by and make look realistic. They don't layer well with one another either.

I'm not a big fan of overlays, but the fall overlays that were released I think in the Vermont theme with the trees popping out of both sides sparingly was pretty cool.

More buildings we can use in our designs. I'd like it if we had a small and medium version of these so we could perhaps make cities or something similar. Large ones do fit on the larger avenues but I find them often otherwise unproportioned. I'm constantly looking for buildings kind of like the Dragonfly Inn where you can just pop a house on a screen and be done. Same for stores and other public buildings.

I'll likely think of more, but thank you very much for asking.

Agree with Autumn's post.

Fog would be nice too, with different hues to match different times of day. So, fog with a yellow or blue hue. Trees that can be layered well- some peeking on the side of the screen and some that look like they're taller than the screen.

Pre-made outdoor backgrounds. A mountain range! Oh, and small trees and items we can place on top of said mountain range and still have it be proportional. Moss, grass or something would suffice. Snow for them.

I'm sorry my list is long. There are so many things I've been wanting to use and decorate with and would decorate with so often if given the chance.

Overwhelmingly agree with this. Outer Space tiles too, please!! Not just regular outer space, but all sorts of colorful nebulae and fantastical planets.

Interior and exterior front doors that go together, so we are not making do with mismatched doors

Interior and exterior windows that match, so inside windows can match what is on outside of house

More arches that we can use as doorways or window frames (or whatever else creativity leads us to )

Railings that match stairs so we can create balconies that don't look mismatched

More stairs and steps of varying lengths that turn four ways

A rooftop that trees can be layered behind and/or treetops that work well with roofing

First thing I can think of is stop baking in items. If it's a bed, some want a bed. Not a bed with 8 pillows, a blanket hanging off it, a book in the middle, a plate of food in the corner, and clown shoes off to the side. A bed. Sell the extra filler stuff separately. A book shelf. Not a book shelf with an apple, a picture frame, a Pegasus statue, a vase, a bowl of fruit, a candle, a trophy, and a pineapple on it. A book shelf. Get the picture? Not everyone wants their stuff to look lived in by a hoarder.

long, single panel curtains/drapes of varying widths/styles (similar to the long White Curtain in the Luxury theme)

electrical outlets (including some with cords attached so they can be placed to look as though something is plugged in)
packages of toilet paper and single rolls
laptops that can be rotated 4 ways
dish drainers
paper towel holders (both the kind to hang on the wall and to place on the countertop)
takeout food containers

crockpot/slow cooker/instapot
cell phone that can be placed on a table or wherever
flour/sugar canisters
salt/pepper shakers
spices/seasoning (in containers like they would be bought in at store)

Fantasy skyline tiles. I am only bringing these up because tiles are essential for many decorators to decorate within YoWorld. They would be like regular sky tiles but with cityscapes on them. They can be real cities too, but I'd like to see some fantasy cities incorporated as well.

A row of floor tiles and block of tiles that can be used in lieu of placing 1 floor tile at a time. Lining those things up is tedious and that'd help reduce some of our design time if we're not laying down a full floor. I wouldn't mind paying a small amount more in coins to be able to use those instead.

I'm not saying some of these might not already be in the stores but I don't have time to go look and a variety of them would be great anyway.

remotes
phones
radios
mantle clocks
baskets
coffee pots

can openers
utensil holders with utensils

Hopefully all in scale so they fit where we want them to go.
All types of accessories you see in a room that make it look lived in. Go back and look at all the freebies that Zynga gave us and you'll see so many useful things that can be placed in a room to make it look lived in. Unfortunately since you blocked them from being sold or given away we can't get them any more. All of mine disappeared from my inventory when my account was archived.

Agree with above...would also love to see more color choices of Faux Fur rugs, throws, blankets. Woodgrain steps much like the Council Steps. More variety of woodgrain dropdown floors. An Endlessly Interactive Rocking Chair ( )

Would also love more 'nature' music tracks...players that sit on tables that are "Echo" Dot-like. EcYO? With a blue rim light that is animated when clicked
