I'm glad y'all are still working on an HTML5 version. I use the desktop app but after playing for 20 or so minutes it starts to get a little laggy. If you are in the shops then it can happen faster. I have an excellent laptop that runs just about anything but I would like to see the lag issues addressed.

I'm not anxious about the future of YoWorld because The current YoWorld has gotten harder and harder to play for quite sometime.
Does anyone ever really answer the posts we make? SO many problems but NO resolutions. I have had so many issues that I closed one of my accounts already and I am about to close this one as well. The chapter rewards hasn't let me put anything up for auction for months and I have never received an answer to my posts about it. YES I did all the required "trouble shooting" methods! NO ONE helps. NEVER a reply. The fun left this game and I'm taking my interest somewhere else at the end of the year. Sad, really, I've played YoWorld/YoVille for years. Sad to see it go to hell like so many others. May 2021 bring better games with better management and communication. I am truly ashamed at how much $$ I have spent in here.

Be alot better if it were a stand alone app without Facebook. Players could possibly recover accounts in a much better easier way. I stopped playing awhile ago since my old Facebook is no longer accessible which sucks, I was active on that account since 08 now im forced to start over again. Smh

I have not been following the update discussions; forgive me if it has already been answered in this one or earlier ones but I want to know (without scrolling back or through past threads) if the old Zynga properties and items will be transferring.

I'm not positive on this but I think from what they've said it is their intention that all will transfer over but I don't think they are sure yet. We can only hope.

Yeah. Thanks for replying. I wish a Viking would give me a definitive answer. I have several of those homes.

I may have to leave the game due to FB not accepting my CC because I refuse to give them my address. It was odd the day I authenticated my new card Facebook had the number of the new one also. I have a snapshot, I believe it was in September when they took payment.
I know I have to pay taxes on tangible items but this game certainly doesn't qualify as tangible. I didn't buy it on disk plus I've purchased numerous game cash items which have disappeared over the years. I went through my state's tax laws and saw nothing about intangible items being taxed + I still pay income taxes.

I wish now I could have taken snapshots of my inventory &/or all of my rooms. I was working a job an hour from home & had no time to do this. I could never do this now given how many homes I have and how much my inventory has grown.
I also wanted to say I've been in Edit Mode and have seen someone in the room I was editing and that shouldn't ever happen. I took a snapshot.

It's pretty obvious I really like this game & played it before Big Viking re-purchased it.

The billing address is commonly required when using a credit card anywhere on the internet, so facebook is just another one. The taxes will be determined by where you live, so if your locality requires taxes, it's not really facebook's fault--they are just collecting the money for your hometown.

Anyway, you don't really need to spend money to have fun in YoWorld, but a little money can make it a little more fun imo. Good luck...

They’ve given as definitive an answer as they can. They are trying to make sure everything transfers. No one can guarantee anything where code is concerned. If Zuck was transferring Facebook, he couldn’t guarantee that nothing would be lost.

People who don’t want GE to go away said to just get rid of racing. People who don’t want racing to go away begged for a break from GE. Same shoe, different foot, again.

People can just not race or fish and BVG really needs to get rid of the gem onscreen so people can completely avoid that, too. GE players can be responsible for their own play just like the racers and fishers are. If they miss a GE because they weren’t paying attention, BVG makes more YC for gem purchase, so I don’t know why this request has been ignored. Hoping to see then change in the new game iteration.

Well, right off I will say I wouldn't trust Zuck and team with transferring YoWorld. I do trust BVG. Pet City went to the Unity platform and only was able to move a limited number of new themes along with everything players already had because of the work of changing from Flash to Unity but Unity was best for what they wanted to recreate. Ok, what is "GE"?

Edit: "with everything players already had" meaning mostly only what they had of those themes that were transferred.

I'm now having this problem as well; haven't changed a thing, and can't get in. Going to miss out on the modular room and new gem event. Anybody figure out how to fix this? It seems I am not alone here...

The loss of Flash player. I feel badly about losing this important program because it has been used for many games and other things on the Net. From my observations it would appear our 'gubmint' wanted it gone because those of us trying to keep track of certain events happening in the US were able to see what the US was doing at certain times. I can't go into detail so please don't ask.
