1. Go to https://www.screentogif.com and download / install the executable, which is 100% free and safe:
2. Double-click on the shortcut to run the program, which is what I did off screen
3. The rest is in this video - apologies that it's so small but it's taken me aaaages to get it to this point, so it's going to have to do I'm afraid. It was tricky trying to find recording software that would record recording software and then converting the video file into a GIF was a whole other world of pain
From there, you can go to imgur and upload the GIF just as you would any other image

I didn't know you could move the editor thing off the screen to the side so it's not blocking any of the room. I like using it on the side rather than minimized to the bottom, so that will be a big help! Thanks, Miss T!
