I am building my own weird minimal greenhouse and really happen to like these items with a modern & clean looking flourish. The buildable pieces are different and quiet useful. I also really enjoy the Gravel Paths & Solar Panels. Stuff is fresh. I hope the non-easter parts of this theme get the respect they deserve.

I'm excited to see what you come up with using the rafters, cause my brain just doesn't work that way. I tried one & it took up too much room so I gave up :( Maybe it's better not in the greenhouse itself.

Well I haven't done anything with the rafters yet, as I was only playing around with them in edit after starting this room. but yes I meant in a custom creation, like many of the much more talented decorators always find a way to take a "buildable" item and do very impressive things with it.

Kio, are those shelves or steps? Too much path for me tho. Still, you'll come up with some great rooms and hopefully help spark some creativity for me :)

LisaTM (10095126) wrote:Today's release has some nice stuff, but the prices are insane :dizzy: Those tiny sprinklers that look like string lights for 5 and 7 yc apiece? :eh: That's crazy, IMO. I think 2 or 3 yc max would be reasonable, but 5 and 7...no way.

The hanging lamps are also way overpriced.

And the icing on the cake is there was no announcement about the Quaint Countryside theme being vaulted, and no discount on it, either. I'm getting worn out between the gem themes, the constantly vaulting themes, the exclusives, etc. etc. When I have to spend a fortune to get the gem items I want, and have to be stockpiling things being vaulted left and right, it sucks the fun out of the game. Can I live without most of it? Sure. But it really limits decorating for me and that is the main reason I play this game. I spend a lot to support the game, and when I'm constantly having to grab this and that before they leave, pay extortionate prices for any decent gem items, and have to pay inflated prices for new store theme items, it's really a bit much.

I got home from a vacation and was looking forward to doing some decorating, and now I'm running around trying to figure out what I'm going to stockpile for my own use since much of it will never make it into the depot.

I'm getting worn out. This isn't sustainable. You guys need to figure out a sustainable solution for the game. Slow your roll a bit and fix bugs, focus on quality, and stop with the cash grabs. It really does feel lately like this feedback is falling on deaf ears.

Yeah, I agree. QC is one of my fav's, too! Sigh  That theme has a lot of good decor in it.

They are just very old coin White Taku shelves still in store, but they have a lot of versatile uses to be anything you want them to be (& there's a few other colors). The paths in my intention was not necessarily a path but just supposed to be like a maze-like garden or design for the floor. It is still a work in progress.

Yes, I recognize them as Taku :) Just trying to figure out your thought process there. I think you were going for shelves vs stairs. Carry on! :D

Oh I'm sorry I misunderstood your question. In my room they are simply wall texture or some kind of nondescript architecture. I guess I was trying to use them in an abstract way to build up the room's contrast & texture. They could have a scientific function I am unaware of also. But they are neither steps nor shelves in this case.

Since it's not been addressed yet, I guess I'll put this here as well. The Community Garden YoCash tiered deal for today is completely messed up & is charging incorrect amounts & giving incorrect coins and YoCash.

Not impressed with today’s release. The items in the YC deal are boring/odd— a plain blue dress, a handheld wagon of kids that should have been a decor item instead, a tiny rubber boot decor that might have worked better as a handheld, and a carrot interactive that doesn’t show a preview in action.

The fairy wings are pretty but not sure I want to clutter my inventory with random costumes in order to try getting the wings.

The milk chocolate skin look can be accomplished instead by using the chocolate skin color & have the added benefit of keeping different face shapes.

And the gardening throne looks like a chair was dragged into some overgrown bushes & then sprayed with leaf clippings from the power lawnmower.

To be honest, I prefer traditional Easter theme...

This theme has some great items, but Idk am I only one who don't "feel" Easter...

I'm actually quite enjoying this theme. Plenty of opportunity for those with little cash to decorate and enjoy the game.

At the same time, I am wondering...

Is it necessary for EVERY theme to have a throne? They're always ridiculously expensive and rarely (in my opinion) serve a purpose. I guess I just don't see how this theme benefits from having a "Gardening Throne" but to each their own.

No, it's not just you. I mean, it's a nice spring time theme. But I don't necessarily get any "Easter vibes" from it either.

Do you guys have any idea how profitable your wearable "skins" would be if they actually didn't forcibly change our face shape to the one default face shape? I am certain that many players avoid purchasing every single skin you make because it does not code to the face shape we are wearing like the old skins do. The permanent skins you guys made years ago coded to our face shape, like Permanent White skin, Permanent Light Aqua Skin, etc. These newer skins you guys make like the Milk Chocolate Skin, Mining Skin, Dwarven Lava skin, etc NONE of them are worth a damn unless the player is wearing that face shape or wants to settle with it. This is a creative issue when they're not skins, they're costumes. I have pointed this out before but It's worth it again if by any chance the feedback is passed along by some miracle and the change is made for future skin wearables. The versatility and diversity is just not there with the way these are designed and fitted/coded. I am wondering if this can be taken in to consideration or implemented in new skins sometime going forward so that they can become worth a purchase to all players and not only the ones who wear that one default face shape. Thank you.
