I just want to see rooms/outfits that people put some effort into. If it looks good I'll vote for it, but if it's a bunch of freebie crap tossed into the middle of the room, forget it. I don't care if it's all coin items (not everyone can afford YC) as long as it's not a room full of mystery chest free stuff.

I don't mind because it increases my chance of getting a better score. I actually like the gem event and put effort into decorating. My highest rating has been 5.6 so I am going to keep striving for that 5.8. Gem Event is actually fun for some of us and you don't have to play it. They are not forcing you to do so. You can just opt out of playing rather than complaining about it. Don't ruin it for those of us who actually like doing these challenges. When I don't like the theme for the game and I do not like Medieval Theme I actually do like playing the Gem Event challenge.

please post the room and say a name if you can because the person should know and be able to report the glitch

Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture but the name was Belle. I reported it.

aw that was good of you... i have 2 more to post when i get home. both had avi's left in room and one was a completely empty room apart from the avi!

i always try to put effort into my rooms - got the lowest rating this time. I see so many awful rooms that are 4 or 5 stars. I skip so many! Makes me frustrated. :grr

No one is ruining it for you. If you choose to read valid criticism of the event as ruining it for you, don't read it and, if you do, your reactions are your responsibility. I for one don't GAS except if I want the room or part of the starter outfit. I am done spending tons off coins and effort and time without sleeping and stress over something excellent that I have gotten less than a 4.5 for and sometimes less than a 4.0. If others feel like my low effort it is an insult to view, so be it.

I found the exact same thing and I wasted so much time skipping, trying to find enough to vote on I finally gave up and just started clicking on the empty rooms. :( I think people are finally over it and showing it by not bothering.

I have a room I made for Zynga when they announced their evil plans to kill this game because of Mark Pincus' sorry mismanagement abilities. I didn't get a ban for it after it stayed up an entire weekend without a mod being around. LOL (they did finally remove it). I edited it to be forum friendly, but you get the idea.........

Ah good times....... :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
Cheers to this room. I use to love the gem events, and jumped on anyone who did not, I also jumped on negative nellies in the theme events, but I am now out 600usd and 17.99mo with no end in sight of how much money this game could cost. By the way it is only a glitch that I am still listed as a Gold supporter. :smug: :smug: :drink:

This whole thing is getting frustrating. My last room didn't even get 3.5. I got nothing, zero, zilch. Admittedly I didn't try very hard but meanwhile rooms with a few random not even from the theme objects thrown in get 4 and 5 stars. I'm done with the effort, in decorating and voting. o_o

I wonder if yours was one of the buggy rooms that just showed up empty or with avatar in it?
