Do we dislike pink hair as a rare or do you think we're just seeing it too often? Genuinely curious because I've been investigating this trend of feedback for a bit.
:D

Both for me. I seriously dislike it as a rare colour option, as it's not as wearable / or complimentary to every outfit and definitely seeing it FAR too much as an option colour. There are many other more natural colour combinations that could be used instead of pink.

I'd love to see some examples when you have time. :D

And these don't have to be "rares." I'd simple like to see different colors - not the same color repeated every single release.

Thank you for the Plague Doctor Mask. I was able to find one in the auction house for a "decent" price.

I would like to see these male hairs (color combinations) I listed bellow. The one thing they all have in common is that they look more natural – they have the buzzed part in their natural color. I found hairs on the shorter side, but some of those colors could work well even with longer male styles (and some not so well).

Please do not quote this whole post if you decide to reply to it, since there are lot of images and it would make browsing this thread annoying. Copy only the images you would like to see (or talk about), or reply by mentioning my name.

Very nice examples YoJohn! I don't think they've released many styles like those at all!

Here's a few.... the current caramels and some honeys in game are probably my fav colour combo's but would prefer a more gentler shading / blending of the colours and not a block contrast. The best colour combo which wasn't just two colours put together but blended in, for me would be the Honey Cultivator Hair TF2018
Image

Suggestions for other colour combos:
Image
(brown and caramel - which is very natural / real looking ;) )
Image
(purple and blue)
Image
(red, browm, copper / gold)
Image
(as an example of how pink could be used in a more complimentary way imo ^^^^^)
Image
(Brown, Cherry, Copper / Orange combo looks heavenly)
Image
(This brown and lilac ombre is an excellent example of how important shading and blending in colours makes combos wearable)
Image
(highlighted / ombre hairtip ends)
Image
(Ashbrown and lilac / purple)
Image
(blue, black and purple hair ^^^^ lol)
Image
(highlights work well with any colors if blended in right ^^)
Image
(Brown and Silver / Grey ^^^ - instead of block grey or silver hairs - a nice ombre of the two colours would be nice )

Oh I could go on and on..... :haha: Hope that gives you an idea of what I meant.

I went thru my inventory to see what rare hairs I like the best. Most of them are either brightly or very differently colored. The are in no particular order. However, I'd like to say that one of my favorite hairstyles is the choppy capelli (I think I have all the colors now), which has a lovely purple (not rare) and a creamsicle, which I think is very unique.
Streaked Flared - Starry Night Prim - Ruby Dolled Up - Metallic Deadly Dolly (yes it has a bit of teal but is with other colors and is metallic...drool) - Runic Silky - Volcanic Sayuri Doll - Ambrosia Aphrodite - Ethereal Aphrodite - Coffee Toffee - Berries & Cream (the Japanese "purple" & cream) - Copper Pioneer - Diamond Cut Provincial - Fiery Frazzle - Black Ash (not sure it's a rare?) - Emerald Poseidon.

I'm currently wearing the Streaked Flared hair.

I am also tired of pink yet again. There are some lovely colors like Lavender Grey Braided Curls ER2018 that would have been a nice change instead.
Here are some other ideas as well.

Auburn with blonde highlights

Mostly blonde with some subtle brown highlights Image

I guess we all want to see more natural looking hair combos and if we are going to have wild colours then shading and blending is the key.

Fair warning, David. You guys can get a lot of things wrong in Yo, but if you get hairs wrong, the masses will descend on the forums like a swarm of exploding locusts.

Yos love them some hairs. :haha:

In response to the new walking and Idle horse animations...
Anthony SpaceTime (102235402) wrote:This feature makes absolutely no sense to me, and it's quite ridiculous. Instead of making this a rideable, they wanna charge 21 and later 30 YoCash for each one? 60 YoCash for the whole set? Are you... You literally can't have one without the other! So if you only buy Idle, the horse only shows up when you're standing in one position?

What if you only buy the walk? Will the horse only show up when you walk but not while standing still? BVG couldn't have thought this to be a good idea.

I initially thought that "leg" clothing (which resemble roller skates, cars, etc) were all meant to replace ridables, now what is this??

Yeah, I agree. I think the hard part is trying to please everyone. Some players want long hair others want short hair, some want natural colors,
some want funky colors, some players want the hair to really match theme and others could care less. What I'm really looking for is to make sure that we don't get into some repetitive trends likes only giving "omg it's pink" hair as the rare option. I want there to be variety in our releases because we won't be able to please everyone but at least there can be faith in the fact that more variety is coming.

Well I appreciate you addressing this openly. A lot of the frustration in what hits the stores relates to players feeling unheard - whether true or not. I have a few buddies who play that I will point to this thread. They have repeated some of the good feedback about hairs you are getting from the ladies here. They probably won't post, but they don't like it either when they feel like you guys are stuck on 8 colors and styles. Hell, I think they'd buy a dozen hairs a week if you guys put em out. LOL

I do agree, but BVG constantly locks away hairs with any semblance of highlights these days in mystery boxes. We have to gamble for hair with the crazy colors. All the solid color hairs go to stores though. I wish we had more highlight options we didn't have to gamble for.

Another forumer suggested having a more diverse selection of hair to choose from. I agreed with them. We are lacking a whole lot of types of natural hairstyles in this game. BVG always delivers straight, and curvy hairstyles. Or, hairs with big curls. BVG always gives men either huge sideburns or too many similar under-cuts. Never hair with tighter curls, and very rarely cornrows and dreadlocks. Braids and hairstyles like the ones in the quoted post below are rare to non-existent in this game.
