Being a VIP does not "count" towards Gold Badge status on the forum. In addition to VIP subscription, you must be spending $50 or more in a 30 day period, for the gold badge. :thumbsup:



:shocked: :shocked: When did they raise the amount? when they first started the badge thing, you had to purchase a minimum of $20 through YoWorld.com monthly to receive and maintain a gold badge! :eh:

......Now would be a good time to address a change you will notice in the forum as of today. For those players that have supported the game financially in the last 30 days, you will be recognized with either a bronze, silver or gold supporter badge. In order to receive a bronze badge, you will need to have spent between $5 and $25 in the last 30 days. For a silver badge, have spent between $25 and $50 in the last 30 days. And finally, for a gold badge, have spent more than $50.

This is our way of recognizing those players that help support the game, and also to help you recognize your fellow players who help keep YoWorld a vibrant game.

I have mentioned in the past that we tailor the gaming experience to those people that support the game financially. This is not only true, but also vitally important since they are the ones who help fund the development of new features and content. It's very difficult for me to take somebody seriously when they are complaining about coin pricing or releases when they have never supported the game. In general, only 5% of YoWorld players support the game.


still could swear it was only $20 via the .com.....well no matter to me any more....used to spend $300+ monthly but am no longer working and therefore not able to do that presently...they sure are quick to remove gold status!!! Oh well....glad I was able to help them out in getting YoWorld back up! :) You'd think they'd give lifetime gold supporter status after a player reached $3000 or so!... most organizations would.

Just out of curiosity, Viking Jess, who is that "Loretta" that's standing outside the casino...why is she asking for my lock code before I even go inside??? :shocked:

I'm not Jess, but Loretta is an NPC. Non-playing character. She is computer generated, not a "real" player. :thumbsup:

As for the Lock Code, depending on how you have your settings done, you will need to provide that before doing any actions that involve spending money in the game: casino, auction house, even purchasing yc/coins (it has nothing to do with 'Loretta'..the Lock Code box will popup whenever you try to access these places) Your settings can be adjusted if you are finding entering your code often is inconvenient.

every single year, since BVG took over, we never had any chances to get any christmas songs...

can we please have some holidays music, to bring festive for us...!!

we been asking so many times on this subject and ended up been ignored!
