For me its little things mostly. Things that help enhance a room or scene. These are items you removed from the store below that I would consider essential for out door rooms or to get a certain effect for a room. I would love to see similar items like them return. Items such as these could never be over done.
1.These especially the first 2 I loved to use because of the appearance of the little pebbles/stones. Most of the dirt or ground tiles we get are just one shade with no added little detail and all plain. These should have been put in the depot. I would love to see similar to them.

2.These as well was expired. They was great because they was small in size and sometimes in rooms you just need tiny little touches. Would love to see some similar to these in shade and size.

3.These was also expired. Once again the size of these are why they was great, Also the colors. We get all kinds of mist, fog, and such but never any colored that stays in the store. The overlays are great but size matters sometimes and bigger is not always better. I would love to see more like these in reds, purples, greens, blues even some black.

4.These because we do not have very many tiny rocks/pebbles. When doing out door rooms these small little things really help. I am big when it comes to detail and find items like these essential. Would love to see some like these return.

Some other things I would consider and love to see more of are just plain solid colored sky tiles in different sizes like the ones we got in the shadows theme. Would love to have just black or white and other colors. Also would love to see more colors of the moon beams in reds and other shades. More shades over water tiles would love a muddy more brownish shades. Things like water and sky you could give us every possible thing and I bet you would never hear anyone say its to much.

First thing I can think of is stop baking in items. If it's a bed, some want a bed. Not a bed with 8 pillows, a blanket hanging off it, a book in the middle, a plate of food in the corner, and clown shoes off to the side. A bed. Sell the extra filler stuff separately. A book shelf. Not a book shelf with an apple, a picture frame, a Pegasus statue, a vase, a bowl of fruit, a candle, a trophy, and a pineapple on it. A book shelf. Get the picture? Not everyone wants their stuff to look lived in by a hoarder.

Sky tiles and water tiles that run both horizontally or diagonally. Nighttime sky tiles.
Interior and exterior doors, not exterior doors to use inside the house.
Open doorways (not all rooms have doors)
Different styles of furniture, not just different colors.
Water features than run horizontally.
Mountains (in horizon).
Sloped paths (up and downhill).
Exterior steps (not stairs) that flip 4 ways.

Essential items that are never saved are indoor items. Don't get me wrong, I am happy the outdoor decor gets saved to depot, but indoor decorators do get the shaft during vaulting.

Items every good rooms needs:
Drinks, Foods, Kitchenware, Bathroom items, Coffee Table type items, coin Tvs and electronics, The laundry/clothing items used for decor and things like that. You should just make a theme called essential items and release it room by room.

Some of this stuff has been in past themes and vaulted and some may still be in stores, just not many choices, but here are some ideas:

Measuring cups and glasses
Mixing bowls (individual and stacked, colored and stainless)
Cookie jars/canister sets
Coffee bags/pods
A roll of paper towels
Napkin holders
Salt and pepper shakers
Cooking utensils in holders
Cutting boards to go on counters
Small kitchen appliances (air fryer, deep fryer, instant pot, food processor, hand mixer, etc.)
Stacks of plates and bowls
A loaf of bread in a bag, boxes/bags/cans of food, case of soda/beer/bottled water
Dish soap/sponge
Dishwashers (overlays or separate appliances)
More individual drinking glasses, tumblers (like Yeti, etc)
More hand towels on bars or rings
A big canister vacuum (like a garage Shop Vac)
Upright vacuum
Cleaning supplies, spray bottles, mops, cleaning wipes, etc.
New laundry detergent/fabric softener/container of laundry pods
Box of tissues
Laundry basket
Stacks of towels (plain stacks, rolled or folded in baskets, etc.)
Shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion bottles
Candles in jars
Phones to sit on tables or desks
More soap dispensers (one, not three together)
Bigger area rugs
Remotes, cell phones, other electronics that might be sitting around
A basketball
Empty dog and cat beds
Individual pet food and water bowls
More throw pillows and blankets/quilts
New pickup trucks (we have several SUVs and cars but hardly any trucks)

This isn’t so much staple stuff, but there’s hardly any stuff to make a kid’s room so:
Sports equipment that you might find in a teenager’s bedroom or garage
Posters, school stuff, other teenager-y stuff
Toy bins/baskets, individual toys, shelves with toys, etc.
Baby stuff/nursery furniture (playpen, stroller, car seat, crib, toddler bed with rails, changing table, pretty much anything)

I like the bathroom accessories that were in PN2020, but I wish they were separate items so we could put the soap and toothbrush holder on the sink and the stuff on the trays on the back of the toilet or a separate counter, for example.

Just think about what you have sitting around in your own house or apartment. The staple furniture items are great, but it’s the little things that really make a difference.

Hmm.

Some floor to ceiling curtains. You have a lot of curtains in the store but almost none of them accommodate these floor to ceiling windows or anything larger we might create by combining windows. I'd also love the opportunity to layer some window treatments. As far as I' m aware, that isn't available at all right now.

... And speaking of essentials- where are the CURTAIN RODS? Our individual panels just hang in the middle of the air right now. Like magic.

It's very modern but could we get some shake and some board and batten wall panels for outdoor and indoor use? Blue, green, black and white would be great. Some shutters to match would also be cool. Also, cornices? I don't think we have those either. The YoCrafts theme had indoor features for this but we could use other sizes, colors, etc.












Adding some porch details here too that are similar to rails or cornices.



Would also love to see some more modern wallpaper. These are all normally what I'd consider essential in designing homes, but I know this is kind of a relative topic.

For me Yo is always about the details. The details are essential to me. I don't need more big stuff. I need more detail so that I can make rooms my own. The room below is filled with items gathered over time. Most are tiny. They make rooms amazing to me. I don't care what you decide is essential. But I know it's not beds and fireplaces and cabinets and counters for me. It's the tools that are used to make rooms amazing:

Please give us some lamps, trees, npc's and benches for coins. It doesn't make sense to ask us and give us essentials if we can't afford to buy them. I was so happy when you first took over and you gave us those lovely beds and rugs for coins .I was hoping that you would update the coin couches and chairs and give us a couple of new ones but you didn't and I was sad .We've had the same ones forever. New people don't have much of a selection if they can't afford to pay to play and lets face it the people that do spend to play are still going to buy the YC ones if they like them .It would just be nice to have something to fall back on if you can't afford YC at the moment and for the new people to keep them interested in playing.

Just gonna throw this out there again-it would be ideal to get an avenue of each separate season-not just a path or road but summer winter spring and fall-all nice shades and colour hues for each season so we can add whatever we want to these and make them our very own-sometimes its hard to get as many trees or pebbles and rocks etc without having to go overboard to make things visual as we see them in our own heads.. thanks

I am always looking for items that are horizontal like beams, wainscoting, steps, and borders. We have very limited choices always being tied to 2 way views and many times I would love to create things with no corners. On the flip side of that I would love to have sky tiles that were left or right and not horizontal

Things that I'm always wishing for are:

more books (and thank you for the ones we've been getting!!)

throws in more colors - I love the IE2019 and PH2019 throws and they layer well, but need more colors

LOVE the council steps but need them in wood shades

more types of coffee cups

more floor to ceiling drapes, different colors

more colors of the loft ceiling in YoDepot - wood shades

more colors of the crown molding and baseboards, with better layering

More wooden pillars that are tall enough, most pillars in store have either stuff baked on them or are too short or are way to bulky. Also some plain black pillars. More wooden wall tiles and bigger floor tiles. Solid color rugs that can be lined up next to each other that actually don't fall under tiles. Drapes that stay on top of windows and that are big enough to cover windows.
I would love to get more of those bathroom windows we have with different seasons those windows are my favorite to use.


Also more steps like the council steps but maybe use wood and use different colors. Those are the only stairs i use but don't always go with everything.

Please leave the Christmas tree decorations - baubles, bows etc. in game. Some of us like to decorate trees. It was such a pleasure to get some in the Christmas themes that are headed to the vault. So do not take them away, please.

It would be awesome to have some couches, chairs, and tables that sit at an angle, instead of the four way turning options we currently have. Just to mix it up a bit.


A few coin chairs, couches, benches, beds, and trees. This would really be good for those times we need a lot of seating, such as theaters, trains, etcetera. And, this would likely mean that we would be spending more yocash on other items. And people who might skip a theme that requires a lot of seating might decide to participate. win/win
