Sending gifts as a "challenge"

The other issue besides that we get less requests on the days it is a "challenge" item; is the fact that I have noticed that it often doesn't show up on the game itself, but does show up on Yo itself. So you will see the request on Yo, but then the gift will not show up in the game. Then you have to restart the game on the tablet or phone to get the sent gift to show up in the game! What's up with that glitch?

I was so excited to complete the send 10 gifts to friends for the second time ever. The first time was last month and I had items in 2 of the boxes. Really hoping to get Misty I opened my box . . . and found coins in every single box

i have over 239 friends, and i have been playing since the game was owned by Zynga.

since i have been playing the companion app. i have not ever received more than 3 requests for a gift from any of my friends. are you kidding me, only 3 of my friends want a gift in a 24 hour period. i dont think so.

Funny because that's the current challenge & I was so annoyed this time that I came to the threads to see if anyone else felt this way too!
This needs to be removed from the challenges.
It's ridiculous & like someone else said, I don't even bother to do any of the challenges on days where the "send gift" is one of them.

Everyone needs to make an " Event" in YO, Reminding mobile players to request gifts, anytime it is one of the daily quests. But the more you request yourself and answer quickly your friends requests the more I seem to get ...

I think if you request coins, 5 people can send. If you request lives, 4 people can send. And I don't even know what that other symbol is that you can request.
