As of around 9:30 tonight [Saturday 4/14], mine is no longer working. I'm getting the "A YoWorld account is required to use this companion app."

Chloe, try this, it worked for me.

Ok, mine is finally working. Not sure why, but I'll tell you exactly what I did and got it to work again.

1. Log out of Facebook on phone and computer
2. Click Mobile App (didn't work for me the first time)
3. Click Mobile App again
4. When it says log in to Facebook, log in
5. If it doesn't work immediately, close app and try again.

Mine worked after I did these steps. Not sure what the problem is, but for now it's working for the first time since Wednesday.

*****Unfortunately, when you log out of mobile app after getting it working, it goes back to the same error message about having an account, making you have to repeat the above steps again. Seems to be a lot to do just to use mobile app. :'( :'(

YAY! THANKS! It works for me now :)

Hope others can get back in game in as well.

I tried all the various reccomended steps during the past days and nothing worked.

However this morning the mobile companion could fetch my account again. Nothing I did different.

(I am on Android btw)

I had this problem on my iphone until I went into Setting/General/Iphone Storage and deleted the app. Everything worked after reinstall. For whatever reason, deleting app from the top screen did NOT give the same results! . I hope this helps!

This message appeared on my iPad Saturday, 4/14/18 at midnight. I WAS able to get the game at 8:00 pm but have not been able to log in since.
I do not know how to even find "mobile app" on my iPad to remove it let alone reinstall it.

So frustrating...

Mine is once again not working! After only working properly for about a day, it will not let me log in and I keep getting the same old message that says "A YoWorld account is required to use this app." When can we expect to have this issue resolved once and for all? This is extremely frustrating!

I'm getting the "A YoWorld account is required to use this app" error message also. I tried Deb's suggestion but it didn't work for me. I also tried removing FB from my phone and reinstalling it but that didn't work either. If I remove the mobile app and reinstall it will I loose my mobile app data and have to start over?

Did you loose your mobile app game data (i.e. game level and coins)?
